Work during your studies
As an international student in Finland, you are allowed to work while studying, with flexible regulations on working hours. However, your academic progress must remain your top priority. Even if classroom hours are limited, you’re generally expected to commit around 40 hours per week to studying, assignments, and independent learning.
Most Finnish universities provide career services to support students in finding part-time work. These services often include job fairs, CV and cover letter reviews, and networking events with local and international companies to help students explore employment opportunities during their studies.
